Procurement Executive (Cahya Mata Sarawak Management Services Sdn Bhd, Kuching)
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer (internal) satisfaction are accomplished;
- Jointly developing and implementing category strategies set by the Category Manager to drive direction and results;
- Managing sourcing projects, key initiatives, and supplier negotiations;
- Verifying spend analysis, market insights, SLA’s and total cost of ownership;
- Assessing current business and legal risks in existing and or new contracts based on Contract Management guidelines set;
- Drafting contracts and/or statements of work;
- Building accountability for supplier performance relative to contracted service levels;
- Managing supplier pay terms in adherence to contract;
- Be an example driver of change, compliance, and continuous improvement in procurement and other related departments;
- Ensure that all other duties set by the line Manager are being completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 3 years experience as a Buyer or in an operational procurement function;
- Experience managing vendor relationships and/or the resolution of issues in a cross-functional environment preferred;
- Detailed understanding of contract terms, monitoring activities, and required due diligence;
- Ability to communicate and articulate vendor performance issues and due diligence items to appropriate parties both internally and externally.
- Ability to archive/document evidence of compliance to enterprise vendor governance/audit standards.
- Understand and mitigate the inherent and residual risks of vendor relationships (Info sec., Privacy, Business continuation, criticality)
