Electrical And Instrumentation Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure all employees comply with regulatory & company requirements for personal & facility safety
- To lead on diagnosing, identifying and rectification of the problem during electrical, instrumentation, respective operating system, DCS & PLC breakdown
- Provide leadership with all preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance and reliability functions of the factory electrical, instrumentation, respective operating system, DCS & PLC
- Lead in continuous improvement to minimize plant downtime through work order documentation, failure analysis and RCA process
- Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection and testing schedules and ensure compliance for both electrical & instrumentation equipment
- Assist Project Management on any Plant Improvement Project that involve Electrical & Instrumentation scope of work
- Management of the electrical and instrumentation parts inventory including asset control, usage tracking, obsolescence reduction
- Identify and implement training and development for E&I Technicians to ensure the necessary people skills and resources are applied currently and in the future
Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years working experience in chemical/ heavy industry operation and maintenance field
- Experience and knowledgeable on electrical equipment and installation (MV/LV/SWGR/Power Transformer/EDG) and must have knowledge of MSB, MCC, Inverter and AC motor
- Excellence understanding and experience in Conventional Field Instruments, DCS, PLC, SCADA System., Fire Alarm System, CCTV System, HVAC Control System
- A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations and LOTO procedure
- EIU Switching certificate holder will be added advantage
- Able to read, write and speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to read, write and speak in Mandarin will be added advantage
- Willing to work in shift
