CMS Raises RM2,383 for Kuching Autistic Association

Sunday, 28 June 2010, Kuching – ‘Get your Sunday lunch here’ was the theme of Group Corporate Communications’ and SALCO’s stall at the Kuching Autistic Association (KAA) Sale of Work here today. Three solid hours of sales calls and coaxing for honey roasted chicken, Nyonya cakes and Aussie lamingtons, resulted in the team netting RM2,383.00 for the charity organisation.

Present to give the stall a welcome hand were Dato’ Richard Curtis, Isaac Lugun and Eda Ahmad.

Well done to the team – Goh Chii Yew and Betty Ling from Samalaju SBU, Ang Siaw Luan and Penny Khiew from SALCO, Shirly and Dayang from Group Corporate Communications, and Bernard Lee from Group IT who did a wonderful job of getting attention of passers-by to come to the CMS stall. Special thanks also go to Mrs Greg Rashford for sending in homemade lamingtons, a hit with customers including some who remembered that lamingtons are only available once a year in Kuching at the KAA annual sale!
