Aiding Kampung Emperoh Jambu during the EMCO
17 March 2021 – When the Enhanced Movement Control Order was implemented at Kampung Emperoh Jambu in Padawan, villagers were not able to leave their houses even for a quick supply-run. As the villagers watched their daily essentials gradually deplenish over the two-week lockdown, concerns over the adequacy of these supplies spread across the village. To help put the community of 105 families at ease, CMS quickly reached out to donate essential items such as face masks, hand sanitizers, Vitamin C tablets, toothpaste, soap and mouthwash worth RM100 per family. The essentials were handed over to Ms Veronica Benita, on behalf of the village headman.
